This was the very first thing I have ever knitted. There was an issue with the yarn sent to me (wrong colour) but customer service correctly it very quickly. They were also very happy to respond to questions quickly. Really enjoyed making it and not too overwhelming for a total beginner. There's lots of resources on the website to help you as you go along as well.

Who is the cosiest lady you know? IT’S ME!!!!!
This is my first successful/wearable self knitted garment. I’m not counting my ear-warmer headband thing. It’s the #breracardigan by@weareknitters, using yarn bought from them also 🧶.

It’s a ridiculously simple pattern: basically 5 rectangles. I really enjoyed working on it from the comfort of my sofa during the autumn. I ended up stalling after the rectangles we’re done because I wasn’t sure if I had to block them. Long story short: I didn’t. Massive thanks to Julia @juliahincks for helping me to eventually turn the 5 rectangles into this wearable-beast.

Osiris Snood

The osiris snood is done! I had a lot of relaxing time by the pool the last couple of days so here it is.

The Petite Wool by we are knitters is great to work with, so soft and yet chunky.

Dinca Scarf

My first knitting project 🧶🙌🏼!!

I used the we are knitters Dinka scarf kit (sand colour wool) - for beginners - and watched online tutorials to learn to knit.

The stitches are a bit wonky and it’s certainly not perfect, but I have really enjoyed the repetitive, low-brain power knitting whilst watching films in front of the fire.

I would love to move onto a knitted jumper - which may be rather ambitious! Any tips on very easy patterns?
