THE IMPORTANT THING IS TO PURL THE STITCH WHEN IT’S A KNIT STITCH, AND THE OTHER WAY AROUND. IF ALL ROWS WERE WORKED AS INDICATED BY THE WORK, THAT IS, KNITTING THE KNIT STITCHES AND PURLING THE PURL STITCHES, WE WOULD BE WORKING A RIB STITCH.
